Chinese dumplings are one of the most important foods in Chinese New Year. Since the shape of the Chinese dumpling is similar to ancient gold or silver ingots, they symbolize wealth. Traditionally, the members of a family get together to make dumplings during New Year's Eve. They may even hide a coin in one of the dumplings!

is a non-political, non-religious, and a not-for-profit organisation that was specifically formed to serve the Chinese – Australian community in Brighton, Victoria.
We are Bayside’s first independent, nonprofit, Chinese Australian Culture Connect Community club.
Our purpose is to provide social events that connect the Chinese and Australians in the Bayside area. Enjoy social get to togethers, culture bridging activities, create English and Mandarin Language connections and meet new friends.
